Moms are the best! Happy Mothers Day from all of us!

What an awesome mother you are! I think of you every day and can’t imagine life without you. Happy Mother’s Day!I wish I could do more for you throughout the week, but while I try to make your life as easy and happy as possible, know that each time I say “Bye Mom,” it means the world to me. How is your relationship with your parents?

I cannot say that I have the best relationship with my parents, but I have some okay ones. We don’t really see eye to eye on everything and there are definitely things we argue about, but overall we get along. We text back and forth on occasion and call each other sometimes. I think a lot of it has to do with how close we were when we were younger and how much our relationship has changed since then. On Mother’s Day, my mom always sends me flowers and something small like a card. I usually reciprocate by sending her a handmade something or cooking her dinner.

What has been the best parenting tool you have ever used?

I am not sure if this qualifies as a parenting tool, but one of my favorite things to do when my kids are acting up is to take a deep breath and count to 10. It usually works and they know that it’s not always going to be perfect, but they need to know that I am trying my best.

What do you like about being a mother yourself?

I love everything about being a mother! I love the feeling of being able to knit my child a new sweater or cook them their favorite meal. I love the way they can look at me and know that anything is possible. Furthermore, I love being able to create new things with my own two hands!
