Description-
When will the Nokia X50 be released?
Speculation about the Nokia X50 has been doing the rounds for quite a while. The aforementioned Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 models made their respective debuts in June and May of 2021, but while the X50 was being talked about at that time, it still remains something of a mercurial device. Some sites, such as GSMArena, had expected to see the X50 launch in Q3 of 2021, but that window obviously came and went.
There could be good reasons for this, as there has been a global shortage of processors over the past year which has made it difficult and/or expensive to produce new devices; just look at how hard it is to buy the latest generation of games console or graphics card to see the extent of the problem.
More rumours are beginning to appear now, with a potential name change to the ‘Nokia X50 Pro’. Whether this marks a separate model or a new tier of Nokia phones remains a mystery so far.
Nokia did choose to announce its new range of models at a special event in April 2021, which suggests it may follow suit again this year. We’ve seen a report on BestMobile24 stating that the Nokia X50 Pro will arrive on 11 January 2022, while GadgetsNow claims it will be released at the end of August 2022.
We did see the emergence of a Nokia X100 in November 2021, but this is just a slightly tweaked Nokia X10 and not quite the premium device that the rumours seem to be discussing.
How much will the Nokia X50 cost?
Price is just as much a quandary as the release date. We can look at the other members of the X-series family as an indicator of what you might need to pay, but with the X50 or X50 Pro thought to be a higher-spec device, it may be that the final price will be higher.
Nokia X10 – £249/€299/ (approx) $329
Nokia X20 – £319/€399/ (approx) $420

Description-
Since its launch in late 2020, mysterious start-up Nothing – created by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei – has led a fairly private existence, however, its second product ever, the Nothing Phone (1), is now confirmed to be coming this summer.
How the Phone (1) will serve as the heart of Nothing’s promised ecosystem remains to be seen but there are already details surrounding the phone’s software, feature set, and the hardware it might sport when it does arrive, later this year. Here’s all we know so far.
When does the Nothing Phone (1) launch?
The company first confirmed that it was working on a smartphone at its 23 March event, but didn’t offer much in the way of details, beyond promising a summer release.
The event also saw the reveal of Nothing OS – the Android-based user experience that the Nothing Phone (1) will run. While this won’t officially launch until the phone does, part of the OS is already available to try in the form of a beta version of the Nothing Launcher, which is free to install and try out on smartphones running Android 11 and up.
On 10 May, Nothing confirmed that O2 will be the Phone (1)’s exclusive network partner in the UK, while Telekom Deutschland and Flipkart will help bring the phone to European and Indian markets, respectively. It’s assumed that the phone will also be available to buy directly from Nothing’s website come launch; similarly to its debut product, the Ear (1) true wireless earphones.
How much is the Nothing Phone (1)?
The Ear (1) boasted competitive pricing at US$99/£99, while retaining premium features like ANC (active noise cancellation), placing them at the upper end of what would be considered ‘budget’ within their respective product category.
If the same treatment were to be applied to the Phone (1), we’d expect something in the region of $500/£500, however, suspicions and leaks point to Nothing producing something a little more high-end.
5.Xiaomi 12 Ultra
XIAOMI MI 12 ULTRA 5G SPECIFICATIONS
General (12)
Description-
A growing and increasingly well-replicated body of Xiaomi 12 Ultra leaks hint that this upcoming flagship smartphone will come with a camera hump designed to house up to 5 different lenses in a circular arrangement. However, the latest live-image tip shows a device with a similar rear panel, but with fewer contents this time around.Xiaomi is now widely projected to drop the right-angle-heavy rear camera hump of the Mi 11 Ultra for one much changed in its upcoming successor the 12 Ultra. This putative super-premium Android smartphone is thought to come with as many as 5 rear cameras and/or other sensors, with extras such as dual-tone flash modules also jostling for space on the phablet’s back panel.
To this end, Xiaomi is said to have developed a new circular protrusion for the 12 Ultra’s rear panel, featuring a central lens around which a range of other components are placed like a watch-dial made of camera components.
Note-Nevertheless, the impression that Xiaomi may not have finalized the Ultra’s design quite yet is hard to shake. Alternatively, it might be a sign that this new 3-lensed version is destined for an additional model such as those of the 12S line. Should this be the case, it seems that both devices will have the promised Leica branding and a choice of rear-panel materials.
